This event will be held outdoors regardless of weather
Open to all Herding Breeds (does not have to be registered with NAMASCUSA to compete or earn titles), dogs must be nine month of age or older
LIMITED ENTRIES 40 runs
Entries Open: March 1, 2008 8:00 am
Entries Close: Saturday, April 12th, 2008 6:00 pm must be at Secretary’s office to be in the program and catalog. Day of entries excepted if trial is not filled. When numerical limit is reached, additional entries will be placed on alternates list.
Drawing for running order: Saturday, April 19 , 2008 Preceding the event you are running in.
Schedule of Events: Handlers Meeting precedes each Event/Level
Trial starts at 8 AM following the first handlers meeting ~ Advanced, Open, Started,Junior Herding Dog in that order. Course A runs followed by Course B.
The mHCC and mHCC2 will follow the awards presentation for the Trial runs.
mHIC Instinct Testing will be done throuout the day as courses are set and at breaks, any remaining dogs will be tested at the end of the last mHCC test.

ENTRIES SENT VIA FED EX, UPS OR EXPRESS MAIL MUST HAVE THE SIGNATURE WAIVED.
ADDITIONAL NOTICES TO EXHIBITORS
ABSOLUTELY NO PUPPIES UNDER 6 MONTHS OF AGE ALLOW IN THE PROPERTY.
ALL DOGS PRESENT MUST BE HELD ON LEASH OR OTHERWISE RESTRICTED EXCEPT WHEN WORKING STOCK. Under NO circumstance will dogs be allowed to disturb the resting stock or interfere outside the arena with another dog’s performance in the arena. Any dogs aggressive to persons or stock will be removed.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED. Please bring your own chairs, shade, etc. Water and soda will be available for sale.
OWNERS OR THEIR AGENTS are solely responsible for the presence of their dog(s) and at test/trial arena. Judges are not required to wait for dogs.
RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee
ENTRIES FEES SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED in the event that a dog is absent (unless replaced by an Alternate), disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of the Test/Trial Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, act of God, public emergency or other acts beyond the control of the Club it is impossible to open or to complete the test/trial, no refund of entry fee will be made.
BITCHES IN SEASON shall be eligible and will run at the end of the class in tests and in catalog order as listed in the class in trials. Notify the Trial Secretary if your bitch is in season.

AGREEMENT
The person who signs the agreement represents that he/she is authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of both the exhibitor and the owner of the entered dog. He/she also agrees to the following terms:
1.Exhibitor and owner , whether members of NAMASCUSA or not agree to abide by the rules and regulations of NAMASCUSA and any other rules or regulations appearing in the premium for this trial.
2.Exhibitor and owner certify that the entered dog is not a hazard to persons, dogs or property.
3.Exhibitor and owner acknowledge all hazards presented by the trial and the trial premises, including but not limited to, trial field, parking area, security measures or lack thereof; and the presence of unfamiliar animals and people. Exhibitor and owner assume the risk of any harm arising from these hazards.
4.Exhibitor and owner release NAMASCUSA and will defend and hold NAMASCUSA harmless from all present and future loss, injury, damage, claims, demands, and liabilities involving the entered dog; the trial or trial premises. Ex. Should the entered dog injure stock, the owner will pay for veterinarian services. If the injury is severe the owner will pay the market value of the stock.
5.As used here NAMASCUSA means the owner and the operator of the trial premises, the North American Miniature Australian Shepherd Club of America, its affiliate clubs and each of their members, officers, directors, employees, course director, trial committees and agents.
